OK - Check this financial blog out. Financial Security Blog
No header but look at the site. Doesn’t this have a nice professional look, with the color of the header background fitting in nicely with the theme of the blog? If you plan right, many times a header image is not a necessity.
I prefer using a header but there are definitely times you do not have to worry about it. Hmmmmmm.

One of the best ways to learn how to blog and what to write in your blogs is simply to visit other blogs out there. See what they write, how they lay them out, how often they might update, and whatever else you want to know.
So - I’m going to begin giving you some blogs to go check out - beginning with . . . . . . .
Barbecue Tips Blog
What guy doesn’t like to barbecue? There is a lot of good barbecue information out there and this blog is very popular, nicely laid out, and enjoyable and informative.
It is a Wordpress blog - note the customized header though. The blog takes on more of a look of a website. The “more” tag is used so that you read a part of the blog and, if it interests you - head to the post and read the rest.

OK - I mentioned previously the advantages and disadvantages of both Wordpress and Blogger. Let me expand.
This past weekend I considered changing hosting for my sites. I’ve had a few problems occasionally and almost made the change. Things were fixed but . . . . .
I have probably about 6 blogs tied into this hosting. If I made the change, transferring web sites is pretty simple ; You just download the files from the current host and upload to the new host - changing domain address with your domain host.

The most common ways that most Internet marketers are making a profit from blogs is by integrating Google Adsense into their blog. This is very simple to do and Blogger makes it even easier for you. You can also insert many other contextual advertisements into the blog such as Yahoo, Kanoodle, Chitika and many others as well as any other affiliate links you may have.
There are many themes out there as well for Wordpress that allow you to easily incorporate adsense and/or Amazon.
The other benefit to blogging is also the ability to add back links to your blog that point to your other websites. This is very important since the more back links that you have coming inbound to your websites, the better you will rank for the keywords you are promoting. You will also have to setup the proper keyword anchor links in your blog and on the pages of your websites that the links are pointing to.
